(3) That on divers dates between the 15th May and the

9th August, 1926, you made use of public moneys for

the purpose of cashing the cheques of the Auction-

eering and Brokering Company Limited, ong Fung

Sik, and other persons, in contravention of General

Order 237. (Jce jages 40 and 10 of the avidence

taken by the Comittee of nquiry).

(4) That on the 20th January, 1926, you lent $3,000 to

the Auctioneering and brokering Campany Limited

at lia per mouth interest, without the permission of

the head of your dort ent, in contravention of

General order 46.

You are hereby called upon to state in writing before the 30th ay, 1947, any grounds upon which you rely to exculpate yourself.

exercise of the powers and functions of your office,

except in so far as may be necessary for the purpose of

handing over your duties to the officer appointed to take
